BA cut Aberdeen Airport flights

Over 130 flights are being cut between Aberdeen Airport and Heathrow by British Airways over the winter months. The cuts came after the airline announced an 88% fall in pre-tax profits for the first quarter of the financial year yesterday.
The airline currently operates seven flights a day on the route, which would add up to around 1,000 over the winter period. But BA is slashing 132 flights over the six months from October to March, or around 13% of the flights. This will consist of 66 flights flying from Aberdeen and 66 from Heathrow.
